The story of Invivo X, SJP begins in a bar in London, where childhood friends Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron decided the traditional approach to New Zealand wine should be challenged. They founded Invivo on the conviction that great wine could be made differently — with boldness, creativity, and a willingness to collaborate with unexpected partners. That collaborative spirit reached a new height in 2019, when Tim and Rob traveled to New York City to blend the first-ever Invivo X, SJP with actress and cultural icon Sarah Jessica Parker. Parker describes the process as deeply personal: Rob Cameron selects the base Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, but every blending decision — from the vineyards to the final proportions — is entirely SJP's. As Rob explains: 'This wine is 100% Sarah Jessica Parker.' The result has been extraordinary. Since its 2019 debut, Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc has earned more than 60 accolades, 90+ point ratings, and 20 Gold medals — including three Wine Spectator Top 100 listings and 90+ point reviews from Wine Advocate and James Suckling. The wine is also eco-certified. Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of five estates in Marlborough's Wairau and Awatere Valleys, with vines ranging from 3 to 11 years. The wine features a subtle oak influence — through late harvesting, skin contact, and French barriques and blonde oak products — delivering a Sauvignon Blanc that is soft, complex, and distinctly personal.
