Invivo & Sarah Jessica Parker: A Wine Collaboration Built on Partnership
Invivo Wines was founded in 2008 by New Zealand school friends Rob Cameron and Tim Lightbourne with a straightforward ambition: to make great wine without pretension. As Rob puts it, "We make wines our mates would drink, and talk about it in the same way they would: honest, down to earth, and without too much BS."
That same spirit runs through everything Invivo X, SJP does.
A Genuine Creative Partnership
Sarah Jessica Parker has been hands-on with the collaboration from label design to blending and has been from the very beginning.
Each vintage she works alongside Rob and Tim to taste and blend the wines. As Rob explains, "It's so important that Sarah Jessica is involved in blending Invivo X, SJP each year, as she represents the tastes of our customers and what they are looking for in their glass." With Rob and Tim as her mentors, she continues to develop her wine knowledge with each passing vintage.
Her personal touch extends to the brand identity too. The X and comma in the name reference her own email and Instagram signoff: "X, SJ." She handpainted the original X on the label herself, with her pinky. And the colors of the X across the range are drawn from the colorways of her own shoe collection, a small but telling detail about how personally invested she is in every aspect of the brand.

Wines From Two Remarkable Regions
The range is rooted in two of the world's great winemaking regions.
The Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Spicy Sauvignon Blanc and Zero Alcohol Sauvignon Blanc come from Marlborough on the northeastern tip of New Zealand's South Island. Marlborough's maritime climate, wide diurnal temperature range and long growing season allow grapes to develop concentrated flavours while retaining the freshness the region is known for.
The rosé is made in collaboration with a family estate in Lambesc, Provence in southeastern France. The Roy René vineyards benefit from exceptional hillside exposure, a warm Mediterranean climate and long dry summers that create ideal conditions for growing fruit of consistent, high quality.
Viticulture
Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc blends grapes from five estates in Marlborough, spanning the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. The vines range from three to 11 years old. Sarah Jessica loved the intensity of fruit from the Waihopai Valley and has blended that with pure aromatics from the Western Wairau and the power found in the Westhaven Vineyard. The Westhaven Vineyard is one of the last blocks of sauvignon blanc in Marlborough to be harvested and so has an extremely long season to develop flavor.
Invivo X, SJP Rosé has been crafted in collaboration with a family estate from Lambesc, South Provence, France. The grapes come from the Roy René vineyards, covering just over 900 hectares / 2,200 acres around the villages of Lambesc, Saint-Cannat, and Rognes. The exceptional exposure of the Chaîne des Côtes and the Chaîne de la Trévaresse hilltops, as well as a climate with little rain and frost, yield grapes with irreproachable quality.
Recognized for Quality and Value
The Invivo X, SJP range has accumulated more than 60 awards, multiple 90+ point scores and three Wine Spectator Top 100 rankings. In January 2026 it was named #9 in Wine Spectator's Top 10 Best Value Wines 2025, the only New Zealand wine to appear on the list that year.
These are wines made to be enjoyed and taken seriously in equal measure.
