When PJ Rigney invites a collaborator into the world of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, it's never a casual choice. The Shed Distillery founder has built his reputation on curiosity, precision, and an unwillingness to settle for the ordinary — so when he met Bruno Vanzan, a kindred spirit was immediately apparent. Born in Rome and honed by years of global travel, Bruno Vanzan is a two-time world champion mixologist whose journey through the world's great cocktail bars has made him one of the most celebrated names in the craft. Together, Rigney and Vanzan created Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin with Italian Fig & Laurel — a gin that layers Italian viola fig, laurel, and Tuscan juniper into the classic Gunpowder DNA. It's slow-distilled in the same medieval copper pot stills at The Shed Distillery, using 10 pot still botanicals and 4 vapor-infused ingredients. The result is sophisticated, striking, and deeply Italian in character — a true pairing of curiosity and passion.

Ten botanicals — including Chinese gunpowder tea, juniper, meadowsweet, and Italian viola fig — are slow-distilled by hand in medieval copper pot stills at The Shed Distillery. Four additional botanicals, including Italian laurel and Tuscan juniper, are vapor-infused during distillation. Created in collaboration with twice world champion mixologist Bruno Vanzan. Bottled at 43% ABV; each bottle is hand-filled, labeled, and sealed by the distillery team in Drumshanbo.
