BackgroundBottega Bacur Gin owes its unique character to the botanicals used to produce it. Juniper berries from Tuscany, sage leaves from Veneto and lemon zest from Femminello Siracusano (Sicilian Lemons) are left to macerate in a solution of Italian Alps water and alcohol then double distilled.
VinificationThe botanicals first macerate in a solution of Italian Alps water and alcohol, then are double distilled creating an elegant distillate with a fine, clean bouquet. The final features of this Gin are deeply related to its components, and its quality and complexity depend not only on the quantity of botanicals used, but also on the conditions in which aromatic compounds are extracted from each of them.
NoseIntense scents of juniper, followed by citrus notes of lemon zest, and closes with sage.
PalateSmooth and balanced, it delicately warms the palate without being aggressive, leaving a pleasant perfumed perception in the mouth.
