- ¾ cup water
- ½ cup sugar
- 6 cups diced watermelon
- 1 cup clear tequila
- 1 cup lime juice
- Boil water and sugar in a small saucepan. Reduce to a simmer until sugar dissolves. Set aside and cool completely.
- Add cooled sugar water, watermelon, tequila and lime juice to a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Pour mixture into a 9x12 baking dish and freeze for 25 minutes. Use a fork to stir the mixture, then place back in the freezer for 25 minutes. Use a fork to start to flake the mixture. Repeat until the entire dish is frozen flakes. Serve immediately.
