    Planet Grape Wine Review
BackgroundCreated in 1949, in the Le Marche region of Italy, Fazi Battaglia is the premier shareholder of estate vineyards within the Castelli di Jesi DOC. These wines epitomize Italian style: fresh, elegant and distinctive. Their flagship amphora shaped bottle is an iconic symbol of the winery and territory.
VinificationProduced in the Classico area of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. Made exclusively from Verdicchio grapes grown on the beautiful hillside vineyards owned by the winery. Grapes are hand harvested. The grapes are gently pressed, followed by cold maceration of the must. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 14-16°C, followed by 4 months of aging on the lees to add crispness.
