We’re thrilled to announce this exciting, breaking news:

Bodegas Salentein, pioneers of high-altitude wines in Argentina’s premier Uco Valley, has been nominated for “New World Winery of the Year” in Wine Enthusiast’s prestigious Wine Star Awards. As our colleagues in the industry know, these nominations recognize extraordinary commitment, innovation, and global influence — qualities Salentein exemplifies.

This recognition by the Wine Enthusiast team celebrates not only Salentein's exceptional wines, but also their vision, passion, and leadership in the Uco Valley region. They have deservedly become a byword for Argentina’s fine wine culture and we are incredibly proud to represent them here in the U.S. market.

Bodegas Salentein — New World Winery of the Year Nominee

Aside from being terroir groundbreakers in the Uco Valley, Salentein is also the region’s first enotourism destination — beyond its world-class winery and cellars, the property is home to a 121-acre nature preserve, the showpiece Killka Center for Culture and the Arts (one of Argentina’s premier art galleries), Posada Salentein (luxury guest accommodations), fine dining restaurants, and the landmark Chapel of Gratitude, a non-denominational chapel, built using ancient local stonework techniques.

From highly nuanced single-vineyard expressions (the product of tirelessly innovative research) to their easy-going, everyday releases, Bodegas Salentein is a benchmark in Argentine wine. Among their many other accolades, the estate was recently named Winery of the Year by Tim Atkin in his 2026 Argentina Report and has been recognized as one of the World’s Best Vineyards by William Reed.
