This means now is the perfect time to discover one of the most prestigious brandy producers of all, Bodegas Williams & Humbert, and their iconic, solera-aged Brandy de Jerez, Gran Duque de Alba. Founded in 1877 by brothers-in-law Sir Andrew Williams and Arthur Humbert, this historic bodega is located in Jerez de la Frontera, the heart of Sherry country, with vineyards spanning more than 486 hectares / 1,200 acres.

Gran Duque de Alba Oro is an ultra-premium Brandy de Jerez. It is similar to Gran Duque de Alba Solera Gran Reserva, but matured and aged for an average of 25 years. It is produced at the Williams & Humbert Bodega, in Jerez, Spain, using the traditional system of criaderas and Solera. The brand was first launched in 1945 and named for the Grand Duke of Alba, Fernando lvarez de Toledo y Pimentel. It is aged in American oak casks that previously held Palo Cortado Sherry.

Rich mahogany hue with ebony highlights. Intense nose with notes of vanilla, raisin, and plum. Lavishly complex with a velvety, long, creamy finish. Best served at room temperature and excellent poured on special occasions.
