Grapes for The Plan are sourced from top quality vineyards all over South Eastern Australia, including McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek and Barossa Valley. Synonymous with Australian winemaking all over the work, the McGuigan family has been tending vines in the Hunter Valley since 1880.
Vinification The Shiraz fruit for this wine was sourced from our vineyards in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. The parcels of fruit were treated individually, fermented and matured, before being blended to create this outstanding wine.
Color Intense, rich scarlet.
Nose A combination of plum and blackberry aromas with spice, pepper and cinnamon.
Palate Well-rounded and fruity with rich flavors of ripe plum, blackberry jam and spices balanced with vanilla and caramel flavors. The resulting wine is deep and intense.
