ingredients

• 1 oz Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin
• 1 oz Tequila Bribón Blanco
• 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz black pepper simple syrup
• Grapefruit soda
• Grapefruit wedge & salt (for garnish)

directions

• Black pepper simple: Combine 5 cups of white granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons black peppercorns, & 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to low boil for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
• Rim a chilled Collins glass with salt and carefully add ice.
• Add gin, tequila, black pepper simple, and lime juice; stir vigorously for 10 seconds to combine.
• Top up with grapefruit soda; stir once again to gently mix and garnish with grapefruit wedge.
