Fine Wines from Burgundy Since 1832
Under the dynamic leadership of brothers Armand and Louis Cottin, Labouré-Roi has become what is today the third largest source of Burgundy wines (with nearly 85% of production concentrated in the famed Côte d'Or). Labouré-Roi now exports nearly 80% of its production to over 30 countries worldwide. A testament to this ongoing success, the house debuted on the Paris Stock Exchange in 1999 under the umbrella company Cottin Freres . Read more about Laboure-Roi here.
A key element in the transformation and continued success of Labouré-Roi is the Cottin brothers' readiness to embrace progress, supported by their extensive investment in state-of-the-art technology. The new Labouré-Roi winemaking facility in Nuits-Saint-Georges is indisputably one of the finest in Burgundy. The winery, which boasts a cellaring capacity of 2,000 barrels, supplements the house's impressive historic cellars. Dating back to the 16 th century, the ancient cellars are still used today for the storage and aging of select bottles.
Visitors are hosted in the old cellars in Nuits-Saint-Georges by pre-arranged appointment only . Please allow approximately one hour for a guided tour and tasting.
