BackgroundMany decades in the hospitality industry worldwide have cultivated the Vanderpump familys love for outstanding wine. Lisa and family are delighted to introduce Vanderpump Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine that combines their love of the Old World wines' tradition with the incredible bounty that their California home has to offer. This Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes sourced in the stunning vineyards of the Sonoma Valley and Alexander Valley AVAs.
VinificationAll our fruit is hand sorted & fully destemmed to small stainless-steel tanks. Cold soaks (5-7 days), warm fermentations (85-90°F), & moderate pump overs were done to express this vintage. Total skin contact ranged from 19-34 days with all fermentations being carefully basket pressed & put to barrel on full fermentation lees for ML. Native yeast and ML used with only small lots conducted using cultured Bordeaux isolates. Aged in 100% French Oak.
