BackgroundThe Plan was simple: to take outstanding Australian wine to the world and in doing so, become internationally recognized as a winery of great distinction. Set in 1880, four generations have weaved their passion and dedication into one of Australia's most dedicated winemaking families: The McGuigans.
Today, the McGuigan family still follows this master plan for hand-crafting exceptional, vibrant wines. The Plan is a range of uniquely Australian wines sourced from select dry-grown and irrigated vineyard sites throughout South-Eastern Australia. The wines are vibrant and fruit-driven with a spine of elegant acidity...all part of The Plan.
VinificationFruit is sourced from vineyards in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales and then fermented in stainless steel using a selected yeast strain for seven days. The juice was matured and blended to create a smooth, fruit-dominant wine.
