BackgroundThe Plan is a unique range of wines that are vibrant and fruit-driven with a spine of elegant acidity. Innovative and of high-quality, The Plan from McGuigan Wines are varietally true with a distinct sense of place. Grapes for The Plan are sourced from top quality vineyards all over South Eastern Australia, including McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek and Barossa Valley. Synonymous with Australian winemaking all over the work, the McGuigan family has been tending vines in the Hunter Valley since 1880.
VinificationFruit is sourced from vineyards in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales and then fermented in stainless steel using a selected yeast strain for seven days. The juice was matured and blended to create a smooth, fruit-dominant wine.
