An Italian Wine Icon

The winery created the amphora-shaped bottle in 1953, which has since become an iconic symbol of Fazi Battaglia. Inspired by ancient Etruscan containers, this unique shape makes the brand immediately identifiable and is linked not only to the image of the winery, but also to the Verdicchio grape variety and the Le Marche territory._

Based in Le Marche

The winery is located in the village of Cupramontana, 30 miles from the coastal town of Ancona in the heart of the Le Marche wine region. With over 247 acres of estate vineyards in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi DOC, Fazi Battaglia has the appellation’s largest acreage of Verdicchio plantings.

Fazi Battaglia stands out in the territory for its beautiful vineyard locations, where the great Verdicchio crus lie, the result of careful study and extreme selection. Fazi Battaglia Verdicchio and Rosé are produced using only estate fruit.
