This wine is a blend from Dry Creek Valley, California a magnificent long, narrow valley that has diverse soils, varying elevations, wind, rainfall and sun exposure which create unique, expressive wines. This old-vine Zin is supplemented with a small portion of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah from Mendocino County.

This wine is a blend from Lodi Ranches surrounding the Mokelumne River where some of California's oldest Zinfandel vines are farmed. Soils are diverse with primarily granite cobble deposited centuries ago from the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Cool "Delta Breezes" blanket the area during the growing season resulting in layers of ripe fruit flavors, firm acidity, and fine structure.

This Zin is a blend of Mendocino Ranches surrounding the Russian River. The ancient bench lands provide deep, well-drained soils consisting of up-lifted marine sediment, alluvium, and metamorphic rock and ash. The vines are 40 to 60 years old and sustainably farmed.
