BackgroundHead to Head Red is a blend of Tuscany's very own Sangiovese grape, Syrah, and a hint of Merlot which combine to produce a soft, juicy wine with a ripe red fruit character and a touch of delicious sweetness that pairs perfectly with classic Italian dishes. With Head to Head Red, a new tradition is born. The dynamic brother-sister team of Giulia and Andrea Zingarelli will re-visit the blend every year, fine-tuning the wine to reflect the very best blend for each vintage.
VinificationThis wine is made with carefully selected grapes. The varieties are vinified separately and blended before bottling.

PalateSmooth and full-bodied. The syrah contributes round fruit flavors and spice while the sangiovese adds structure and balance.
