Sustainable Farming Efforts
Rocca delle Macìe uses a number of systems and programs to promote sustainable farming in their vineyards, including mating distraction to discourage pests. To minimize the use of pesticides, the team uses monitoring and alarm systems. Winemakers do not use chemical herbicides and only us organic fertilizers as cover crops in their vineyards.

Avoiding Erosion
Rocca delle Macìe pays careful attention to the effect erosion has on their vineyards. They use natural stones to build walls in order to reduce the slope of the vineyards.
