Primary tabs

The high environmental value certification (HVE) comes from the Grenelle of the environment. This environmental certification appeared in February 2012, it is a voluntary approach accessible to all sectors concerned by 4 themes: biodiversity, fertilization management, phytosanitary strategy and management of water resources.
HVE certification is based on a progressive certification logic that takes into account the entire operation. Environmental certification is controlled by third-party organizations that are both independent and approved by the Ministry of Agriculture. This type of certification corresponds to the characterization of high-performance farms in terms of the environment. The cycle of HVE certification is completed in 3 years.
HVE is based on environmental performance indicators that cover the entire farm. The certification can attest that the elements of biodiversity (hedges, grass strips, trees, flowers, insects ...) are very widely present on the farm and that the pressure of agricultural practices on the environment (air, climate, water, soil, biodiversity, landscapes) is reduced to a minimum.
