Lunetta limits the use of pesticides and practices eco-sustainable farming including cover crops, sustainable pest control, and natural fertilizers.
We have installed 3,200 solar panels on top of our warehouse and production facility. These panels generate around 800 Mwh (megawatt hours) per year, and power 66% of electricity during the production process.
Lunetta wine bottles are made with 80% recycled glass. We have transitioned to lighter bottles, which in turn allows us to reduce transport and handling weights, thus minimizing the impact on the environment and reducing our carbon footprint.
In an effort to reduce water waste, we have installed modern industrial systems that utilize a high precision irrigation process, using water only when necessary.
Lunetta cases use 99% recycled cardboard and all Lunetta labels and cases are printed using water-based ink that is solvent-free and contain no chemical compounds.
