In a remarkable run, the iconic estate behind Italy’s first traditional method sparkling wine has won their eighth “Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year” title at the 2025 Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships. This is the fifth time in a row they've secured this prestigious award.

Stewarded by the third generation of the Lunelli family, Ferrari Trento has become a celebrated producer of Trentodoc wines.

The Ferrari winery also took home 13 gold medals at this year’s competition, winning nods for their Ferrari Brut and Maximum range. This is an outstanding achievement that emphasizes not only the remarkable levels of quality in each wine, but also the winery’s ability to showcase their unique terroir’s full potential.

“What can I say about Ferrari Trento that has not already been said,” asks Tom Stevenson, one of the world’s leading Champagne experts and founder of the competition. “If you could pick up the ethos, artistry, work ethic of its gifted people and transport them with their winery, cellars and the topographical integrity of its vineyards and drop them anywhere in the world, they would excel. Anywhere. That is why Ferrari Trento are Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year for the fifth year in a row and an incredible eight times out of the 12 years the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships has existed.”
