Vanderpump Introduces Two New California Wines

Vanderpump Introduces Two New California Wines

(May 2020) –The Vanderpump family is pleased to introduce two new wines from Sonoma County to their Vanderpump Wines collection, in collaboration with leading U.S. wine & spirits importer Palm Bay International. The family, led by businesswoman, restaurateur, television producer and philanthropist Lisa Vanderpump, is excited about their new California project, that combines their love of traditional Old World wine with the incredible bounty that their California home has to offer.

Vanderpump Wines

Vanderpump Chardonnay is made from 100% estate grown grapes from Sonoma Coast AVA. With aromas of lemon citrus and pear, lined with floral notes and hints of brioche and toast, the wine undergoes lees contact and spends 11 months resting in 100% French oak, to produce a medium-bodied, elegant, nuanced Chardonnay that maintains refreshing, well-balanced acidity.

Vanderpump Cabernet Sauvignon is a Bordeaux-inspired Cabernet made from grapes grown in Sonoma Valley AVA and Alexander Valley AVA. Deep ruby red in color, the wine has rich flavors of dark fruit and wild berries. Careful hand sorting and extended skin contact during the winemaking process coupled with 18 months aging in 100% French oak, produce a complex Cabernet with lush tannins and a long, elegant finish.

The wines’ packaging features the Vanderpump crest with its trademark rose detail and the Vanderpump family signature in a classic yet modern raised-gold print. The grape variety and region are prominently displayed on the front label to facilitate easy consumer identification.

Vanderpump Chardonnay ($21.99) and Vanderpump Cabernet Sauvignon ($26.99) are currently rolling out nationwide. These two new offerings join Vanderpump Rosé produced in the Côtes de Provence AOP, which was launched in 2017.

About Vanderpump Wines

Many decades in the hospitality industry worldwide have cultivated the Vanderpump family’s love for outstanding wine. In 2017, the family launched their first wine - Vanderpump Rosé, a dry Provencal rosé. Inspired by many years spent living in the South of France and a deep passion for rosé, it is a fresh and bright wine from the sun-drenched Côtes de Provence region. Recently, the family, who also has deep roots in California, introduced two new expressions from Sonoma – Vanderpump Sonoma Coast Estate Chardonnay and Vanderpump Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon – each carefully crafted to continue the tradition of excellence in Sonoma.
