Palm Bay International Welcomes Gracias a Dios Mezcal and Agave Gin to Portfolio

(March 2020) – Leading U.S. wine & spirits importer Palm Bay International is pleased to announce the addition of Gracias a Dios to its portfolio. Located in Oaxaca, Mexico, Gracias a Dios is a 100% Mexican-owned company deeply committed to producing handmade, ultra-premium quality mezcal and agave gin. Gracias a Dios spirits are crafted by co-owner and 4th generation maestro mezcalero Oscar Hernandez and his nephew, Milo Jimenez. Oscar and Milo benefit from their family’s generations of experience growing agave and producing mezcal in Oaxaca. They, like the generations before them, employ a traditional, artisanal method of mezcal production that includes cooking mature piñas in a dirt oven heated by wood and volcanic rock and crushing the cooked piñas in a one-horse powered stone grinder.


The Gracias a Dios collection includes the following (all expressions are bottled at 45% abv):

  • Espadín Blanco ($39.99) - double distilled mezcal made from 8-year-old agave cultivated in Oaxaca’s central valleys
  • Espadín Reposado ($49.99) - made from a base of Espadín Blanco and aged 3 months in new American oak barrels
  • Tobalá ($85.99) - double distilled wild agave, cultivated 10-13 years in Zoquitlán, Oaxaca
  • Tepextate ($85.99) - double distilled wild agave, cultivated 20-25 years in Zoquitlán, Oaxaca
  • Cuishe ($85.99) - double distilled wild agave, cultivated 10-13 years in Miahuatlán, Oaxaca
  • Pechuga ($105.99) - a specialty mezcal distilled with local fruits and the breast of a turkey or chicken
  • Agave Gin ($52.99) - double distilled agave spirit infused with 32 botanicals, which represent the 32 states of the Mexican Republic


The Gracias a Dios portfolio is currently available from Palm Bay International in major US markets. The spirits were previously imported by Domaine Select Wine & Spirits.
