Palm Bay International Introduces High Heaven Vintners from the Columbia Valley

Palm Bay International Introduces High Heaven Vintners from the Columbia Valley

(January 2020) – Leading U.S. wine & spirits importer Palm Bay International is pleased to announce the addition of High Heaven Vintners to its portfolio. Located in Washington state just east of the Cascade Mountains in Columbia Valley’s Rain Shadow, High Heaven Vintners is a new brand with a vineyard first philosophy. Marc D. Taub, third generation president and CEO of family-owned Palm Bay International, and Mark Zirkle, fifth generation fruit farmer and president of family-owned Zirkle Fruit, joined forces to create these exceptional wines that showcase the very best the Columbia Valley has to offer.

High Heaven Vintners works exclusively with estate-grown grapes sourced from five vineyards owned by the Zirkle family within the Columbia Valley AVA: Beverly Vineyard, Soaring Eagle Vineyard, Zillah Ranch Vineyard, Four Feathers Vineyard and McNary Vineyard. With more than a century of experience farming fruit in the area, the Zirkle family believes in a vineyard first philosophy, understanding that the first step to making great wine is growing great grapes. This approach is supported by the vineyards’ unique, protected location in the high desert, considered ‘heaven’ for growing high quality wine grapes, and the winery’s dedicated team of enologists led by Washington natives Becca De Kleine and David Forsyth.

The new range from High Heaven Vintners includes Roaming Elk Red Blend ($17.99), Sea of Tranquility Merlot ($17.99), Majestic Pines Cabernet Sauvignon ($17.99), Starshower Riesling ($14.99) and Cloud Mountain Chardonnay ($14.99). The label illustration on each bottle was hand drawn and painted by three Seattle-based tattoo artists to capture the Columbia Valley’s natural beauty and the essence of each individual wine.

The full range from High Heaven Vintners is currently rolling out nationwide.
