Dating back to the 11th century, this fortress-like château has been in the hands of the Gromand d’Evry family since 1841. At Lamarque, the Gromand d’Evry family has mastered the delicate balance between the preservation of a rich Bordeaux tradition and the relentless pursuit of the utmost quality through innovative winemaking techniques.

Grape Varieties
46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot

Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 21 days at controlled temperatures of 82-85ºF. After fining with egg whites, the wine is aged for 18 to 20 months in oak barrels.

Elegant nose of concentrated fruit and toasted oak.

Taste
Rich and powerful, with smooth tannins.
