Distilleria Bottega is located in northern Italy between Venice and the breathtaking Dolomite alps. It’s a landscape where sparkling rivers run between ancient castles, Venetian-style villas and traditional rural hamlets. From here, three generations of the Bottega family have used only the best natural ingredients and raw materials to produce exquisite Alexander Grappas, excellent liqueurs and exemplary wines.
Distilleria Bottega is now under the creative direction of the dynamic entrepreneur, Sandro Bottega. Since 1987, he has helped to make the Alexander Grappa range the preferred drink of choice amongst a sophisticated, new generation of grappa drinkers. Representing the utmost in quality and purity, Alexander Grappas delight the eye as well as the palate. The range is packaged in sensational hand-blown bottles designed by Sandro and crafted by skilled master glass blowers at a local glassmaking facility, in the tradition of an art-form developed in Venice in the 1400s.
For Sandro Bottega, respect for the environment has become a critical part of
both the grappa and winemaking process, and visitors to the Distilleria Bottega
can see for themselves the numerous eco-friendly programs the vintner and master
distiller has implemented to help reduce the company’s carbon footprint. These
initiatives include the use of only organic fertilizers in all their vineyards
and eco-friendly packaging. The company’s new headquarters, an 18th century
farmhouse in Bibano di Godega, and the Bottega distillery are also “green,” powered
by renewable energy sources (geothermal and biomass respectively). To find

Both the company’s corporate headquarters and its state-of-the-art distillery
located in Pianzano welcome visitors. Tours are available by appointment and
include a visit to the distillery (production process, distillation and storage
techniques), the blown glass factory and showroom, where visitors can purchase
a range of additional Bottega products, from wine accessories and mineral water,
to olive oil and organic food. Read
