A rock solid, elegant Cotes du Rhone that has textbook Syrah aromas and flavors. Possessing notable red and black berry styled fruit, wild herbs, hints of pepper, and solid minerality on the nose, it is juicy and lively on the palate with a soft, approachable feel, notable purity of fruit, and a clean, focused finish. Very well done and worth buying by the case, it will drink nicely for 5-7 years.

VinificationHand harvested bunches are 100% de-stemmed and lightly crushed before fermentaion in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for 9 months, 25% in one- to four-year-old oak barrels.
