DescriptionLocated near Verona in the province of Veneto, Italy, Vinicola Bertani is one of the regions most important and influential wine producers. Founded in 1857 by two brothers, Vinicola Bertani owns its vineyards and oversees the entire winemaking cycle.
VinificationHarvest begins in early October. Ripe, unblemished grapes are carefully laid out to dry, losing up to 60% of their water content, yielding concentrated sugar and flavors. Fermentation lasts 50 days. The wine is aged in oak casks for six years.
