Nativa is committed to organic agriculture and sustainable winemaking practices, working to improve soil fertility, produce grapes free of chemical residue, use the maximum amount of renewable resources, all while maintaining the diversity of the ecosystem.

The dynamic Nativa Terra Reserva Series perfectly expresses how each varietal thrives in the unique Chilean climate. The noble Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux has found a home in Chile’s Rapel Valley, with high day-night temperature variation and a moderately warm climate delivering distinguished, elegant wines with intense fruit flavors.

90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Carmenere, 5% Merlot (all certified organically grown grapes)

Vinification
The alluvial soils are shallow and clay-bearing, providing the humidity necessary to endure the heat of the summer. After being cold macerated for a week, the grapes are fermented at 75-82º F. Fermentation concentrates on extracting the maximum fruit and building a structure that can withstand ageing. Post fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak for 8 months.
