Located in France’s southern Rhône Valley, Château Lamargue (Lah-Marg) comprises 210 acres of vineyard in the up-and-coming Costières de Nîmes appellation. The estate boasts a showcase winery equipped with the most advanced winemaking technology as well as new French and American oak barriques. Investment to date stands at over $12 million dollars.
The Cuvée Grand Réserve is a very special wine that is only produced in years promising unique potential. Yields are reduced to about 30 hectoliters per hectare – which translates into less than one bottle of wine per vine.

Grape Varieties
A blend of Syrah (90%) and Grenache Noir (10%)
Vinification
Grapes are carefully selected from low yield vineyards. The Syrah grapes undergo pre-fermentation maceration for 4 to 5 days. Following fermentation, the Syrah wine macerates on the skin for an additional 30 days. The Grenache is then blended together with the Syrah before malolactic fermentation, and the resulting wine matures in barrel (30% new) for 14 months
