The Pfalz region of Germany is prized for its climate: close to the Rhine, yet more southerly and slightly warmer, allowing ideal conditions for the noble Riesling grape. The largest and most respected winery of the region, Niederkirchener Winemakers, is also among the oldest, having celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2001. The winery is gifted, not only with a wealth of traditional expertise, but the extensive resources available to such a large and successful enterprise. Niederkirchener has launched Blue Fish, an exciting new brand that showcases its expertise in producing extraordinary Riesling.

Blue Fish Riesling is estate- bottled at a state-of-the-art winery with the most modern vinification equipment, temperature controls and winemaking techniques, yielding a premium quality wine at an exceptional value.

Production Area
From the vineyards of Niederkirchen in the district of Pfalz, western Germany, close to the German border with Alsace.

100% Riesling

Vinification
After harvest, the wine undergoes a temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by partial malolactic fermentation.

Color
Delicate gold with pale green reflections

Bouquet
Seductive perfume of ripe apricot and peaches

Taste
Dry and harmonious with a pleasing structure and underlying acidity.

Alcohol
12.5%
