Arrogant Frog is an estate-bottled wine created and produced by Jean-Claude Mas, 4th-Generation Winemaker. Steeped in legacy, and heritage, Jean-Claude’s unwavering commitment to creating superior wines is his direct response to an “arrogant” assumption that the Languedoc region can’t produce world class wines. This passion has resulted in the domaine becoming the largest privately-owned winery in France outside Champagne, and Arrogant Frog becoming an international success with its engaging, easy-going, and elegant style.

55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot
De-stemmed grapes are vinified separately in stainless steel tanks. Skin contact at 50°F for three days. Six days fermentation at 77°F, followed by 9 days maceration for the Cabernet and 8 days for the Merlot. 25% of the wine is aged in oak barrels for 4 months. The wine is blended and rests for an additional 2 months in vat before being bottled.
Complex scents of ripe black berries with notes of black currant leaf and spicy notes such as licorice and vanilla.
Well balanced with smooth tannins, a lengthy finish marked by plum notes.
Ideal with red meats, barbecue, and hard cheeses.
